I'm
Tesfaye Ketama, Adanech's brother-in-law. I live in Addis Ababa where I have
my own business dealing in pulses and seeds and manufacturing edible oil.
Like Adanech, I've been drinking Ethiopian coffee all my life and know just
how complicated the coffee business can be. If you want to get the best
beans, you have to be constantly on the lookout because they get snapped up
quickly by the dealers who service the world's premium coffee market.
It's my job to ensure that Adanech
Trading Limited, or any other international buyers, get the best coffee that
Ethiopia has to offer. We hold stocks from all the main growing areas in our
warehouse in Nazareth, which is conveniently located between the Central
Coffee Auction Centre in Addis Ababa and our family owned wet processing
plant in Sidamo. It is also well situated along the road to Harar in the
east and convenient for shipping through Djibouti.
We can quote prices FOB Djibouti to
overseas buyers interested in importing Ethiopian Arabica coffee. No
quantity is too large and shipments are dispatched within three weeks of
receiving an irrevocable letter of credit in favour of Adanech Trading
Ethiopia. Our minimum quantity, however, is 18 metric tons (300 bags). |
